The secret lies all within your skin's undertone. There are several techniques to finding out what type of undertone you have.
My personal favorite, and in my opinion the easiest and fastest method is The Wrist Method. In natural lighting, look at the inside of your wrist. If your vein appears blue, you have a cool undertone. If they appear greener you have a warm undertone. If you can't really tell, or you can see a mixture of both, then you may be neutral.
